Public Transport Information
Most places in the village are within walking distance of the bus-stops in Market Square.However the sports grounds and tourist attractions are not - the only option for these is a taxi.
Buses
Bus Éireann
- Route 51 - Galway / Cork (via Shannon airport and Limerick) stops in the town, with a bus once an our in each direction (Note: X51, the express service) doesn't stop in Gort).
- Route 434 - runs Monday to Friday, one service each way, targeted at commuters and students
- Route 349 - runs on Friday, with one service between Gort and Scarrif (in Cork)

- Run a number of local area services in Gort on Fridays.
